Dear kettlebell enthusiast,

Several years ago, I began training with kettlebells. Very quickly, it became my passion and my livelihood. I consider myself fortunate to have gotten in on the “ground floor” of a movement that continues to grow each year.

Over the years, I have seen a lot of info out there about how to perform the basics well, but precious little for anyone who wants to create advanced strength workouts with kettlebells. I wanted to develop my truest strength as a tool for self-expression.

I have specialized in creating and developing these kinds of programs and variations of exercises. I have spent hours upon hours experimenting, sweating and laboring, and even more time thinking. I became almost obsessed with blurring the line between Strength, Endurance and Mobility

Research and experimentation led me down a road that yielded some pretty incredible results, for my clients as well as myself. Over time, some unique variations began to emerge.

It became apparent that I had a choice to make. I could keep it all for myself, position myself as a “knower of secrets” or a  “Master on the Mountain”.

But that’s not me. I can't just keep it to myself.  I am determined to share the fruits of my labor with you.

I created a special  invitation only workshop. I wanted to showcase how a wide variety of people from young girls to hardened kettlebell veterans can dramatically enhance their skills and range of workout programs as a result of my efforts. I called it Full Body Power.

I invited several of my students and clients and put them through the paces, brutally inspecting and de-constructing everything, figuring out the best way to teach this material.  We recorded it and I spent hours going over the footage, reviewing and refining.

I took the show on the road, so to speak, and began teaching the material to my workshop attendees, asking for their opinions on what they liked, disliked, what worked and didn't work and.... most importantly... WHY.

I consulted with my RKC colleagues and  continued to meticulously tweak the material over time.

The result is the DVD Full Body Power: Kettlebells Beyond the Basics.

Do you need a great way to bust out of a training slump or plateau?
Do you want to add variety to your current training?
Are you ready to challenge yourself to higher levels of skill and strength?

Are you ready to take your kettlebell training Beyond the Basics?

Discover how to
  • Train you body to work as a single, powerful cohesive unit across multiple planes of motion with the Turkish Windmill.
  • Forge your body into a piece of iron when you master these fun and challenging variations on the standard Kettlebell Clean and Press
  • Blast your conditioning to mutant status and boost your explosive power with a half a dozen Clean &Squat variations in the Thruster series
  • Dramatically increase shoulder, arm and core strength with the Follow the Leader press
  • Develop the power of the old-time strongmen with the bent press and two hands anyhow

Depending on which size kettlebell you use, you can work pure limit  and explosive strength, strength endurance or pure cardio endurance.

Many of these exercises have never been captured on video before.

You may be asking "What makes this DVD so different from all the other kettlebell instructional stuff on the market?"

I am glad you asked!

First, have a look at what the Full Body Power DVD is NOT:
  • A repackaging of the same old double kettlebell drills that you have already seen pretending to provide a new solution to a different training problem.
  • A massive encyclopedia of “filler” exercises that serve no purpose other than to increase the running time of the DVD.
  • An entry-level explanation of the swing, clean, press and snatch (That is all covered in Pavel's book and DVD  Enter the Kettlebell )
·

Now that you know that, here is what it is:

  • Variations of ketltebell exercises that have never been captured on film before.
  • A look inside a real workshop by one of the world's top kettebell instructors.
  • A clearly explained progression of intermediate to advanced exercises, so that you can develop your skill and strength over time.
  • A detailed description of the windmill, Turkish getup and Bent Press.
  • A starting point for you to use your imagination in developing your own unique expression of strength, using kettlebells.
  • Logical combinations of basic exercises that flow from one to the next.

What will you learn?

The Follow the Leader Press Series-
Take you pressing power to uncharted territory! Learn the  three levels of the Follow the Leader press and watch your arm and shoulder strength skyrocket.

Clean, Squat and Press Series- Variations on the exercise commonly called the "thruster", including the pistol press. Springy legs and explosive power await you!

Burpee Series-
This is the KING of conditioning combinations! Build your strength, explosive power and endurance all at the same time with variations of this movement!

Turkish Windmill-
There is a lot of buzz around the term "training the core" in the fitness world these days.  But what does it mean? How do you do it? These two exercises and the combinations in the segment will build serious core strength along with shoulder stability and coordination.

Tips for mastering the Bent Press that will shave time off your learning curve and have you doing the bent press the RIGHT way (not a side press with excessive lean) in MINUTES not days.

Two hands anyhow-A favorite of old-time strongmen like Saxon and Sandow, the two-hands anyhow is a total-body study in flexibility, coordination and strength.

David Whitley's Full Body Power workshop was an eye- and mind-opener. He taught us form, technique, and variations on multiple classics, like the clean and press, the get-up, and the (now even more dreaded) burpee. But he also taught us the process by which he derived these innovative exercises, and showed us how to innovate our own. It takes a true master to teach others how to create; in this regard, David demonstrated his mastery of the medium. I look forward to training with him again. James DiStefano - Atlanta, GA
I just completed David's Iron Tamer advanced KB workshop at Delaine Ross' Condition KB Gym in Atlanta. It was the absolute best $$$ I ever spent on fitness education! David's workshop was thorough and challenging. I was by far the least experienced in the group with KBs, yet David was able to make quick adjustments with me and anyone else in the group to keep things not only safe but effective. He is extremely knowledgable about not only kettlebell training, but human biomechanics. He was able to perform specific mobility drills with a few students struggling with certain moves that enabled them to complete the drills within just a few minutes of his adjustments. Everyone in the group was very positive about the experience. I've been in the fitness business for over a decade--David is one of the best I've ever worked with and that is no BS! If you get the opportunity to work personally with David "The Iron Tamer" Whitley--DO IT! You won't be disappointed! Ron Jones, MS, Corporate Wellcoach - Atlanta-Los Angeles
